Today's outfit was one that continued to excite me all day. A few new pieces came into play – Prick dress that I picked up at a small boutique in Tampa, along with my excessively chunky and overall BAD ASS crystal necklace from Nightbreed Creations. Oh and my velvet sock boots – these aren't new but they haven't gotten much play lately and they've certainly never been worn with bare legs (I usually rock them with jeans). On my way out the door, I topped the whole look off with my favorite Free People boho sweater, both for aesthetics and functionality. If you know anything about SF, you know it's fucking cold here no matter what and if you don't have a sweater / hoodie / light jacket at all times, you're setting yourself up for failure.
This look took me from foggy 60-something SF to 75-something Mountain View and back again. Plus, it doubled as an excellent outfit for an impromptu sushi dinner with Mike! Today's lesson: mixing patterns, while risky, is most often a good decision.
